Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how BFG Sudoku (“the App”), published by BFG, handles information. The App is designed for offline play with data stored on your device.

What the App stores on your device
- In-progress puzzle attempts (board state, notes, timer, mistakes)
- Local personal statistics (started/completed counts, durations, mistakes)
- Which curated puzzles you have completed, used only for local selection
This information stays on your device. The App does not create an account and does not sync your puzzles or statistics to BFG servers.
What we do not collect
- No advertising identifiers collected by the App for ads
- No third-party analytics or crash-reporting SDKs in current releases
- No sale of personal information
- No full board contents sent to BFG over the network by the App
Diagnostics and crashes
Product events used during development are written locally on the device (system logs) with an allowlisted set of fields only. They are not uploaded by BFG’s code to a remote analytics service.
When you install builds through TestFlight or the App Store, Apple may collect crash and usage diagnostics according to your device settings and Apple’s policies. BFG may review crash reports Apple makes available in App Store Connect / Xcode Organizer. See Apple’s privacy information for those platforms.
Children
The App does not target children for data collection. It does not ask for names, emails, or account details inside the game experience.
Changes
If this policy changes in a material way (for example if a future release adds accounts, cloud sync, ads, or a remote analytics sink), we will update this page and the “Last updated” date.
